[NEWS] TOP Receives Emergency Surgery after Suffering Injury on Set of “Alumni”
Big Bang member T.O.P was injured while shooting for his upcoming film.
While shooting a scene for the film The Alumni on September 21, T.O.P hurt the back of his right hand. He had been filming a fight scene around some glass, when a piece of the shattered glass cut the back of his hand.
He immediately received surgery and is currently in the hospital.
A rep from YG Entertainment said, “It wasn′t a minor injury, and so he had to go through surgery, pitching his agency and the film′s production company into a state of emergency. They got together in an emergency meeting to talk over changes in schedule and postponements to help T.O.P recover quickly. T.O.P is currently more worried over the changes in the film and Big Bang′s schedules rather than his own injury and is determined to get through all schedules as planned.”
The film planned to open a public shoot event for fans on September 22, and T.O.P must soon fly to Singapore for the start of the 2012 Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour which is to take place for nine weeks.
He currently has no trouble moving his body and has told his agency that he will be able to attend both the fan meeting event and the world tour.
Because he has to keep his hand bandaged for two to three weeks, however, his injury is expected to hinder shooting for the film.
Another official from YG Entertainment said, “Because shooting for the film had stopped when the director was replaced and had barely started up again, T.O.P is more pressured at the thought that the filming schedule will be pushed back again because of him. We will talk the schedule over with his doctor so that they can progress without putting too much strain on T.O.P.”

[NEWS] TOP Gets Tanned and Has Harder Skin
A recent picture of Big Bang’s T.O.P (Choi Seung Hyun) was recently released.
On September 21, actor Kwak Min Seok tweeted a picture with the comment, “With Choi Seung Hyun and great supporting actor Kim Min Jae. Now I can tell why people go crazy about Choi.”
He added, “As an actor who shot the movie Alumni, you can expect to see the movie.”
The picture features T.O.P and Kwak staring at the camera. Kwak has his arm around T.O.P and they look like close brothers.
Kim makes people laugh by doing the dishes behind the two actors. T.O.P looks like his skin got darker during the shooting for the movie.
People who saw the picture responded: “I was wondering how T.O.P has been. It’s good to see him.” “He is still alive.” “I wonder what is the movie about.”
