GD tensed up the most when asked which member does TOP missed the most. Taeyang must have sensed it so he patted GD’s back. In turn, GD looked at Taeyang and turned his chair around, (I think he wiped his tears or something) and then turned again to face the VIPs. GD : This question is for TOP. I’ve heard various rumors that you’re building up your body. As someone who is a member of the same group and lives with you, I have yet to see this body. Please show us. How’s the progress going? How is your body coming along?
Dae + audience : SHOW US! SHOW US! SHOW US! SHOW US!
TOP : I absolutely do not want to show my body. I’m not doing it to show my body off. All the members really like to exercise so I’m trying to exercise regularly as well. Also I’m doing it for my health. I want to have a better fit in my clothes and show off my outline better. I’m doing it to take care of myself. SeungRi : I understand that the two of you spent a long time together being in YG Family. I’m very curious as to your first impressions of each other. Even when we’re together as a group we don’t talk about it. I hope you can tell us at Madame B Salon.
KYA (Host) : Yes, at what age did the two of you first meet?
TaeYang : When we were both thirteen, we met at Jinusean’s apartment for the first time.
KYA : So do you remember your first impressions of each other?
TaeYang : (instantly) Yes.
KYA : Oh ho, so you guys remember? What was it like?
TaeYang : Very different from how he is now, Jiyong gave off the impression of being incredibly shy. He barely spoke at all.
GD : People who have known us since we were little always tell us that TaeYang and I switched personalities. I used to be more of TaeYang’s personality now and TaeYang used to be more of my personality now. These days I’m really outgoing and talk a lot and TaeYang is camer and has a much quieter personality. But back then, I was quiet and TaeYang talked a lot.
KYA : That’s very interesting.
GD : Yes. When I first met TaeYang, he was laid back and sprawled in a very comfortable position reading a comic. I thought to myself, “Who is he? Who is he?’ but I couldn’t say anything to him. And TaeYang goes, “Who are you?”
KYA : Oh, first? He asked you who you were?
GD : Yes, and I told him that my name was Jiyong and that I was the new kid. Then TaeYang goes, ‘Let’s go out and eat something!” and he took me out to get something to eat. So then we went on this spicy rice cake house outside the apartment and he bought me some spicy rice cakes.
KYA : So cute!
GD : And he fed me one and was all, ‘Don’t worry, I’ll pay for it.’
TaeYang : But Jiyong didn’t eat a lot of the spicy rice cakes.
KYA : You don’t like spicy rice cakes?
GD : I was scared of TaeYang. The reason was that after we had been friends for a while and we were talking about school and we started to talk about the difficulties of school and how hard it was, TaeYang goes, “It’s alright. I’m comfortable at school.” And I asked him why, and he goes, “I’m a sam jjang.” (sam jjang = the 3rd best fighter in school)
KYA : Is that true?
TaeYang : I never said that.
GD : So, to me TaeYang was a very scary being. — Big Bang on Madame B Salon [August 31, 2008]
KJE : I heard that TaeYang and G-Dragon are now officially adults. Is there anything the two of you want to do now that you’re adults?
Tae : Personally, I’d like to drive.
KJE : You haven’t gotten your license yet, Mr. TaeYang?
Tae : Once before, I had been prepared to get my license. I took the test once and I failed. *audience laugh* So next time, I want to study harder and get my license.
KJE : What about G-Dragon?
GD : I want to go on a trip by myself and just wander around.
KJE : All by yourself. Going on a trip by yourself is the right way to do it.
GD : Yes.
KJE : In honor of becoming adults, I hope that you get your license and you get to go on that trip.
GD : TaeYang can get his license and he can drive me around.
KJE : Then it’d be the two of you on the trip.

DaeSung : My real name is DaeSung. My name has the meaning of “Loud” Dae, “Voice” Sung, and… I use “Loud” Dae, “Voice” Sung. So, with the purpose of spreading my loud voice to many people, I’m using my real name.
MC : But he has a secret stage name?
GD : Big Castle.
MC : Oh, Daesung? Big Castle.
DaeSung : That’s a fake stage name that I came up with.

Sung = castle, voice, sound, success, etc.
